November 1st, we went to watch “The Great Pumpkin [Drop]” (name, courtesy of yours truly). Basically, private planes try to drop pumpkins and hit a target.
Here’s a close-up of the pumpkin and plane:
It was a fun day (despite the fact we arrived 2.5 hours early).
This was my favorite plane next to my favorite dude (love the prescription sunglasses).
And this one made me want to go back to Missouri and build my own with Dad.
And if the planes and pumpkins weren’t cool enough, there were quite a few people there-many from base.
Also, just an observation, autumn lasts so long here. Golly Bill!
