We’re in San Antonio, TX right now and it is hot! Most of the time I’ve been here, it’s been in the 90’s. And the air is so humid and dense. On the bright side, everything is green and I found a pretty sweet coffee shop. They even have creme brulee (I have a small obsession with that fantabulous dessert). Seth has been going to class and studying (and doing rather well, if I do say so myself).
A couple of Seth’s friends from the Academy are stationed near San Antonio and we’ve been able to hang out with them and their significant others. The weekend before making the trek down to San Antonio, we went to the wedding of one of the dudes from Seth’s pilot training class and it was a lot of fun.
Of course, the bride and groom had already escaped by this point.
More adventures to come I’m sure.
Oh, and for those of you interested, living in a hotel with your spouse for long periods of time isn’t as bad as I anticipated. Granted, it has only been a week.
